All about my new project: Jerome's Magical Home

Hello, Everyone! I’m excited to announce the release of my new Children’s book Jermone’s Magical Home. This book was inspired by a dream that I had. It was about a woman that moved into a magical apartment. The place had a magical bathroom that would clean itself. I published my first picture book ‘ Zinnia’s Musical Adventure’ in January.Even though it was well received, I wanted to write a book for younger children. This picture book is a fun whimsical rhyming story. Its about a girl named Joan that visits her friend Jermone’s house for the first time. It is a wonderful magical home that Joan loves. She then begins comparing her home to his and feels sad. I want to remind children that not everything is how it seems and not to compare yourself to others. Writing this book was a diccult process at time. Once I came up with the concept of a friend showing his to someone, my ideas started to flow easier. The most challenging aspect was finding rhymes. There are only so many words that can rhyme with each other. It was also hard to make the lines flow together and have a cadence that sounded pleasing when read aloud. I was able to figure it out thanks to my great editor. I hope you check out my new book and enjoy it.
